While figures are hard to corroborate, estimates range from somewhere between 7,000 to 17,000 Alawites and Christians have been slaughtered in the coastal regions of Syria by terrorist forces in the last several weeks. 15,000 are also reported missing.Other sources put the figures much higher.
Indeed, the killing of Alawites and Christians by terrorist forces never stopped, even after the fall of Assad. Yet, in recent weeks, the killings have intensified to unprecedented levels.
In the days following the fall of the Assad government some former members of the Syrian Arab Army and others formed resistance and protection militias focused in areas that are predominately Alawite, located on the Syrian coast for the purposes of self defense. In the last two weeks, HTS forces began committing numerous atrocities against Alawites in the coastal region, prompting a response from the protection militias who struck back at HTS.
In the aftermath, HTS struck back both against the militias and the Alawite communities. Indeed, most of the “response” has come at the expense of the civilians. The HTS attacks began by massacres of dozens of people in villages and towns along the coast. The victims were unarmed civilians, workers and business owners opening their shops, and innocent people waiting in line for bread. These unarmed individuals were attacked in the middle of their daily routines, with homes and shops looted, men abducted, and other people simply shot execution style.
Jolani was reported to have said that the “gloves are off,” claiming that the resistance militias broke the amnesty agreement by defending themselves against HTS, though it is undeniably clear that HTS has broken the agreement long before. HTS reinforcements were nevertheless sent to the coastal region and they now claim that the “uprising” in many of those places is over. This is, of course, if one chooses to label self-defense as an “uprising.”
Regardless of the interpretation of “uprising” however, if it is over, the HTS attacks on Alawites and Christians certainly are not.

The genocide of Alawites and Christians in Syria continues as the mainstream media continues to downplay the thousands of dead.
More than 7,000 Christians and Alawites have been “slaughtered” in Syria, according to Greek Member of European Nikolas Farantouris, member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Security & Defense, who visited Damascus on 8-9 March Greek City Times reports.
“Basically, what happened is (President Mohammed Al-Jolani) sent his Al-Qaida gangs to Latakia to suppress the Alawite civilians there under the claim they are (Assad) Regime remnants,” said Armenian Christian YouTuber Kevork Almassian.
“Kids, children, newborn babies, women and men have been executed in daylight in the streets, all documented on video because the goal is not only to kill, but they are having pleasure by killing all these ordinary people.”
The Biden regime’s State Department removed a $10 million reward for Syrian “President” Abu Mohammad al Jolani, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist who leads Haytat Tahrir al Sham (HTS), which State described as an Al Qaeda branch.
The bounty on Jolani was removed after US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf met with him and other Hayat Tahrir al Sham leaders in Damascus on December 20.

A video purported to show a terrorist militia commander ordering his men not to take photos or videos of the massacres.
”We are going to enter (attack), we don’t want to photograph anything, anyone takes photographs will be held accountable, you have to give up your phones”
A video claimed to show a civilian walking the streets of Damascus being attacked and killed because he is an Alawite.[1]
Syrian journalist and human rights activist Nizar Navouf, puts the number of people killed much higher than the 7,000-17,000 Alawites and Christians mentioned earlier, stating that 15,000 Alawites have been executed alone. This is not including missing people or Christians. It should be noted that Navouf has never been a fan of the Assad government, be it Hafez or Bashar’s version.

According to a classified British security-diplomatic message from last month:
The government of the terrorist warlord and spy, “Jolani,” had been preparing for its sectarian massacre in Syria’s coastal region since at least February 24.
- The so-called “Ministry of Defense” and the terrorist militia “General Security” distributed detailed digital maps to their faction leaders, marking Alawite, Christian, and Ismaili neighborhoods and villages in Syria’s coastal region, as well as the primary and secondary roads leading to them.
- Religious clerics affiliated with the terrorist warlord “Jolani” delivered lectures to some faction leaders, instructing them on how to distinguish Alawites from others in the coastal region. They warned that Alawite men are circumcised, just like Sunni Muslims, making them harder to identify—even by dialect in some areas.
Jolani’s terrorists adopted the same methods used by Nazi “Stormtroopers” in their preparations to exterminate Jews in German ghettos.
This afternoon, I received an email from a friend working as a researcher at the British Foreign Policy Research Institute, which operates under the UK government. The message contained a security-diplomatic document issued by the British State Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Middle East Affairs Division) and addressed to an individual in the Ministry of Defense.
Since electronic devices are not permitted in the wing where I am staying, I had to wait all day to translate the document. I now have less than 30 minutes to write this post in secret from the bathroom, after everyone has gone to sleep!
My friend believes that the report likely originates from an MI6 operative in Damascus who is part of the unofficial British mission, as the UK currently has no embassy in Syria.
The message, dated February 26, 2025, was sent at least ten days before the fabricated “coup attempt” narrative and before the terrorist butcher “Abu Mohammad al-Jolani” issued his order for his Wahhabi-Nazi gangs to perpetrate an “Alawite Holocaust.”
It is evident that the British—along with others—were aware or at least suspected that the Nazi warlord was preparing this massacre since last month, long before the staged “coup attempt” story emerged. The so-called coup leader, Brigadier General Ghayath Dalla, is either kidnapped or dead. After all, no one would create a “Military Council for the Liberation of Syria” in such an amateurish manner and sign his name on its founding statement (assuming the signature is even authentic) without appearing in a video recording—especially since he is well-known, and his photos are all over the internet.
Clearly, he was used as a pretext for launching the sectarian purge that had been planned—according to the British report—since at least February 24. It is highly likely that Jolani’s Nazi gangs will release a video showing him either detained or executed (if he is still inside Syria) once their extermination campaign is complete.
At the time of writing this post, the massacres are still ongoing. Fires are engulfing many villages, thousands of people are fleeing to forests and Lebanon, as I have just learned.
Here is the verbatim translation of the official UK Foreign Office communication to the Ministry of Defense:

Over the past two days, the new Syrian government distributed detailed digital maps to some of its factions, led by the so-called “Ministry of Defense.” Since the region is home to various religious communities—including Alawites, Ismailis, Christians, and Sunni Arabs and Turkmen—each was marked accordingly. Cities with ethnically homogeneous or mixed neighborhoods were also labeled. Additionally, other maps indicating the primary and secondary roads connecting these areas were provided. (One of these maps, concerning Tartous province, is attached.)
What is also noteworthy is that officers from the so-called “Ministry of Defense” and “General Security” held indoctrination lectures for dozens of fighters from these factions, particularly members of the “Red Brigade” (the government’s special forces), known for their brutality.
During these closed-door lectures, Islamic scholars specializing in Sharia law explained that “Alawite men are circumcised, making them difficult to distinguish from Sunni Muslims, particularly in mountain villages. Therefore, they advised caution when raiding Alawite homes to avoid mistakenly harming Sunni Arab and Turkmen brothers.”
These measures are reminiscent of the Nazi “Stormtroopers” during World War II, when they distributed special maps and catalogs to their members, marking Jewish neighborhoods before attacking them and ordering soldiers to examine the genitalia of targeted victims.
Thus, it is feared that the new Syrian government is preparing to carry out mass revenge killings and sectarian cleansing against Alawites and Christians in the marked areas. It is well known that the head of this new administration, “Ahmad al-Sharaa” (Abu Mohammad al-Jolani), previously carried out brutal sectarian purges in Iraq and Syria, killing tens of thousands and forcibly converting thousands of Druze in northwest Syria to Islam. On a Side Note:
Tonight, a friend from the British Labour Party (Jeremy Corbyn’s wing) visited me in the hospital. He told me that the UK Foreign Office and the House of Commons Defence Committee had received reports from British diplomats stationed in Damascus (unofficially, due to the lack of an embassy).
These reports indicate that as of yesterday, more than 15,000 victims have been executed—either individually or in mass killings.

While some reports that Israel is “sending in the cavalry” have circulated, what this elaborate rearranging of the facts does not explain is that Israel is expanding its occupation of Syrian territory, focusing on expanding its control of Druze areas, and weakening Jolani’s ability to be a threat Israel. While the latter is is more easily understood, the truth is that Israel’s actions have nothing to do with protecting Christians and Alawites, two groups whose destruction Israel has helped fund and direct since 2011.
Russia is the only country attempting to provide moderate amounts of relief, housing those Alawites and Christians lucky enough to make their way to the Khmeimem base. Russia is allowing many of these fortunate individuals to take refuge inside the base itself. For how long is yet to be seen.
It is important to remember that attacks by HTS and HTS-related extremists on Alawites and Christians have been taking place ever seen the fall of the Assad government and the seizure of power by Jolani. Attacks have been predominately in the region of Homs, the northwest coastal region including Lattakia and Tartous, around Hama, and in al-Suwayda. The attacks and killings have been taking place all over the country, however, including in Damascus itself. Druze, Ismailis, Shiites, and Sunnis have all been killed though Alawites and Christians are bearing the brunt of this current religious genocide.
The HTS forces originally claimed to be administering justice against former Assad government supporters and military fighters (despite claims of amnesty) but, from the very beginning, the definition of “supporters and fighters” was so broad that the killings included women and children. Now that the “gloves are off” even the claims of administering justice are dropped and calls are made openly to kill Alawites and Christians.
In some areas, credible reports have described rapes, abductions, the looting of homes, and selling stolen property on the streets (including homes). Some reports have described women being loaded onto buses, taken who knows where. Whole families are being butchered publicly. Beatings are severe but almost merciful considering the other options.
Terrified people are unable to even leave their homes, despite there being no food, no electricity, and no water. Whole villages are being set on fire, burning Alawites alive or, at the very least, leaving them homeless. Forests are also being set ablaze to smoke out the Alawites who escaped the villages.
In Alawite villages and in other areas populated by Alawites, there are bodies in the streets, so much so that they are being bulldozed to hide the magnitude of the slaughter.
Considering how unavailable electricity and communication has become and how difficult it is to communicate, one can only assume the reports that have been received are actually a small portion of what is taking place.
As Janice Kortkamp stated, “A new panic with any footsteps outside the door.”
