The War Continues picks up where Turbeville’s previous book, Resisting The Empire leaves off – the election of Donald Trump and subsequently Joe Biden.

Beginning in 2016 and the end of the Obama administration, The War Continues takes a detailed look at the Syrian crisis beginning with the election of Donald Trump to the presidency and examines claims of chemical weapons attacks, Kurdish autonomy, geopolitics, and the Deep State.

Turbeville deconstructs a myriad of propaganda tropes including the White Helmets and Assad’s alleged “war on his own people.” Turbeville highlights the failures of Western media outlets to maintain a consistent story on Syria and presents stories and reporting from boots on the ground, both himself and other independent reporters not beholden to corporate media outlets and Western governments.

The War Continues is an important act of documentation of the greatest humanitarian tragedy of the 21st Century, even as it is being erased and forgotten from the collective conscience.
