To many Americans who pay only a small portion of their time to what is happening in Syria, the claim that the United States is funding and supporting ISIS sounds like absolute insanity. After all, the corporations who feed them their news incessantly inform them of the threat of ISIS at home and abroad and remind them how hard their government is working in order to keep them safe. Even when many Americans can clearly see that the United States is funding extremists in order to destroy Assad, it is difficult for them to grasp that the most frightening enemy of all, ISIS itself, is also being directed by Western intelligence, the GCC, and Israel.

It is important to point out that the Islamic State is not some shadowy force that emerged from the caves of Afghanistan to form an effective military force that is funded by Twitter donations and murky secretive finance deals. IS is entirely the creation of NATO and the West and it remains in control of the organization.

As Tony Cartalucci writes in his article “Implausible Deniability: West’s ISIS Terror Hordes In Iraq,”

Beginning in 2011 – and actually even as early as 2007 – the United States has been arming, funding, and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and a myriad of armed terrorist organizations to overthrow the government of Syria, fight Hezbollah in Lebanon, and undermine the power and influence of Iran, which of course includes any other government or group in the MENA region friendly toward Tehran.

Billions in cash have been funneled into the hands of terrorist groups including Al Nusra, Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), and what is now being called “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” or ISIS. One can see clearly by any map of ISIS held territory that it butts up directly against Turkey’s borders with defined corridors ISIS uses to invade southward – this is because it is precisely from NATO territory this terrorist scourge originated.

LSD Blurs Boundaries Of Self And Others, Alleviates Depression

Yet another study has emerged demonstrating the benefit of LSD in treating various mental health issues.

LSD reduces the borders between the experience of one’s own self and others. For that reason, it affects social interactions.

Researchers at University of Zurich have found that a serotonin receptor in the brain is crucially involved in the psychological mechanisms that involve experiencing both the self and others.

According to the researchers,

Virtually all mental health disorders come with difficulties in interpersonal relations that in the long run negatively affect the progression of the disease. The associated health and social restrictions can only be marginally improved by current forms of therapy. One of the reasons for this is that there has been very little research into the basic neurobiological principles and in particular the neurochemical mechanisms of these kinds of disorders. A further symptom of various psychiatric disorders is distortions of self-experience. People suffering from mental disorders often show either an inflated or weakened sense of self.

The researchers investigated the links between changes in the sense of self and that of social interaction as well as the pharmacological mechanisms that are active and play a role in the process.

Katrin Preller led the research team of the Neuropsychology and Brain Imaging Group along with Professor Franz Vollenweider and worked with the Max Plank Institute of Psychiatry in Munich.

Study participants would lie in an MRI scanner and communicate with a virtual avatar via eye movements after being administered LSD and ketanserin or a placebo.

Both Western governments and media outlets continue to present to their public a completely false image of the situation in East Ghouta, attempting to paint the Syrian government as a hated and feared force by the Syrian people trapped in Ghouta.

However, as in the case of East Aleppo (which was given a similar treatment in the halls of Western government and the screens of Western media), the civilians of East Ghouta who have been liberated tell a much different story.

Despite the claims that the Syrian military was intentionally targeting civilians (a claim which has never made any sense – why would Assad bomb his own supporters?), the Syrian military has repeatedly opened up corridors in order to allow civilians to leave Ghouta. However, the terrorists embedded in Ghouta routinely refused to allow these civilians to leave, preferring to keep them inside the area for use as human shields and useful propaganda set pieces when they were killed in the crossfire.

Now that more and more of Ghouta is being liberated on a daily basis, we are seeing a flurry of videos showing a direct contradiction of the Western narrative that the Syrian people are terrified of "Assad's forces" or even that they are in opposition to both the terrorists and the Syrian army. Instead, what one can see from these videos are elated, jubilant Syrians welcoming, praising, and even kissing the feet of Syrian military personnel who have liberated them from the yoke of Western-backed jihadists. 

Lead Exposure May Be The Hidden Cause Of 412,000 Deaths Each Year

According to a new study published in the Lancet Public Health, up to 412,000 deaths a year can be attributed to lead exposure in the United States.

This study also claims that exposure to lead may be in “important but largely overlooked” factor in the 256,000 cardiovascular disease deaths that occur every year.

“Our study findings suggest that low-level environmental lead exposure is an important risk factor for death in the USA, particularly from cardiovascular disease,” the paper reads. “It is not surprising that lead exposure is overlooked; it is ubiquitous, but insidious and largely beyond the control of patients and clinicians.”

As EcoWatch writes,

The researchers used data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey to study the blood-lead levels of 14,289 people who were 20 or older between 1988 and 2011. Of the 4,422 people who died by the end of that period, those who had high lead levels (6.7 micrograms per deciliter) were at 37 percent greater risk of premature death from any cause and 70 percent times greater risk of cardiovascular death compared with people with lower lead levels (1.0 micrograms per deciliter). 

Based on these risk levels, the authors estimated that up to 18 percent of all deaths every year in the USA (or 412,000 out of 2.3 million annual mortalities) would be among people who had levels of lead above 1 micrograms per deciliter. Further, an estimated 28.7 percent of premature cardiovascular disease deaths (256,000 out of 892000) could be attributable to lead exposure.

As the recent Russian elections conclude and current President Vladmir Putin has been re-elected and confirmed as the clear winner, the United States continues its hysterical claims that the scary Russians have “meddled” in American domestic affairs with American elections being the chief target. But, despite all the money spent, witch hunts, and censorship, the accusers have yet to produce one shred of credible evidence of any “Russian meddling” that has taken place.

One perfect example of the “debate,” if both sides given equal time and opportunity to state their positions and facts, is the hilarious interaction between radio personality Lionel and career imperialist and spokesman for the intelligence community, Brent Budowsky, when both men were scheduled to debate the question of Russian meddling on RT. The exchange succintly sums up the evidence allegedly proving Russian meddling vs a demand that the case be proved.

Yet, despite the US hysteria over alleged Russian meddling, the United States has been and continues to meddle directly in both Russian elections as well as in Russian society. Such is the level of American meddling in Russian affairs that the publicly admitted meddling operations in Russia coming from the National Endowment for Democracy alone number at nearly 100 organizations.

Snapping Turtle Euthanized After Teacher Fed It A Live Puppy In Front Of Students

After an incident involving a teacher at Preston High School in which a Biology teacher allegedly fed a live puppy to a snapping turtle in front of his class, Idaho “officials” have . . . . killed the snapping turtle.

If you’re wondering just what in the hell you just read, allow me to explain.

Idaho science teacher Robert Crosland was accused of feeding a live puppy to a snapping turtle in front of students after school, according to a number of reports.

The official police report was filed by an animal activist named Jill Parrish after learning of the incident. While there has been no statement from the teacher, and the incident is being investigated, the Preston School District Superintendent, Marc Gee, stated that, “the event occurred well after students had been dismissed and was not part of any school-directed program. We emphasize that at no time was the safety of students or staff compromised.” So, clearly something happened, even if we don’t know just what at this point.

Judging by the school’s reaction as well as the testimony of the students, it’s looking like Crosland is guilty as charged (although we should point out that the investigation has not been completed and, to this writer’s knowledge, Crosland has not spoken about the incident or declared whether he is guilty or innocent).

Crosland is known for keeping exotic animals like snakes and other reptiles in his classroom. Three former students anonymously reported that Crosland used to feed guinea pigs to snakes and snapping turtles during class for the purpose of demonstration.

A recent opinion piece written by Tim Lister for CNN entitled “Assad May Win Syria’s War, But He Will Preside Over A Broken Country,” has unintentionally revealed part of the plan for Syria maintained by the United States, Israel, GCC, and NATO. In lieu of the complete destruction of the Syrian government, the “coalition” of invaders seems to be focusing on their Plan B goal of “federalization” and fracturing of Syria using Kurds, Islamic terrorists, and other religious/ethnic groups to create a collection of religious/ethno states incapable of resisting the will of world powers and one very specific regional power.

Thus, while Syria seems poised to eliminate the terrorist presence in the country at some point in the not so distant future, the question still remains over the Kurdish, Turkish, and American presence and the potentially massive implications for conflict with other national powers if military action is taken to live up to the word of President Assad who promised to liberate “every inch” of Syrian soil. But even if these three issues could be resolved and the war ended today, Syria has experienced seven years of the most intense fighting of the 21st Century and a massive portion of its infrastructure, housing, economy, healthcare, and general living standards has been turned into rubble. Syria, has been depleted militarily, economically, and in just about every other way possible as a result of the Western-backed invasion that has over 400,000 people killed.

In the CNN piece Lister concludes by stating,

Bashar al-Assad has won in the sense that there is no viable alternative to his rule that enjoys broad international support. He has lost in the sense that he now presides over a broken country, whose reconstruction could cost anything from $100 billion upwards. International donors and investors are highly unlikely to venture anywhere near Syria until a credible political settlement is worked out. As Syrian journalist Jihad Yazigi put it, "Saudi Arabia is not going to put money in a country that is controlled by Iran." And Russia doesn't have the money.

The Western media is aflame with reports of “barrel bombs” “last hospitals” and the “brutality” of Assad and Russia. Teacher Accused Of Feeding Live Puppy To Snapping Turtle In Front Of Students

If there wasn’t enough wrong with America’s public schools already, a science teacher at a junior high school in Idaho was accused of feeding a live puppy to a snapping turtle in front of students after school, according to a number of reports.

The official police report was filed by an animal activist named Jill Parrish after learning of the incident. Of course, the question was never in regards to student or staff safety – it was in regards to the puppy's.

As of early Tuesday, Robert Crosland was still employed at the school, had not been cited, charged or placed on leave. The school superintendent that the incident was being investigated and the Franklin County Sheriff, Dave Fryer, stated that he forwarded the report to the county prosecutor.

Crosland is known for keeping exotic animals like snakes and other reptiles in his classroom. Three former students anonymously reported that Crosland used to feed guinea pigs to snakes and snapping turtles during class for the purpose of demonstration.

It should also be noted that something did indeed happen since the school itself referred to it as “the event” and pointed out that it was not part of any school-directed program.

United Nations Censors Debate, Promotes Terrorists In Syria

Ever since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in 2011, the Western corporate media has been alight with insidious and downright absurd propaganda regarding the nature of the Syrian government, military, society, and, of course, its President. In Europe and Australia the propaganda has been heavily pushed as well. However, while the independent and alternative media have thoroughly debunked much of the propaganda coming from states such as the United States, UK, Germany, and Australia, little has been said of the propaganda coming from the United Nations.

Unfortunately, the U.N. has a reputation among many people of being a voice and a vehicle for peace. However, the United Nations is anything but and instead has played an active role in the destabilization, breaking, and destruction of states in the aim of the same agenda that has taken full hold of governments in the West.

One such example of U.N. propaganda is the incessant droning on regarding the humanitarian catastrophe in East Ghouta while nothing but the sound of crickets comes from the U.N. in regards to the humanitarian condition of Damascus or virtually anywhere in Syria where terrorists occupy or have occupied.

This latest hypocrisy and obvious double standard in regards to situation in East Ghouta vs the situation in Damascus and other areas under siege by terrorists is both stunning and revealing. Take, for instance, the recent statement by the UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Geert Cappelaere entitled “The War On Children In Syria: Reports Of Mass Casualties Among Children In Eastern Ghouta And Damascus.” This statement stands as one of the least professional statements of “outrage” ever made on the part of a UN staff attempting to use emotion and marketing techniques to nudge public opinion to the anti-Assad narrative and support some heavier sustained “isolation” of the Assad government.

Tennessee Sheriff Humiliates Himself After Busting 21 Stores Selling CBD

The United States currently maintains the largest incarcerated population in the world. It routinely sees armed men throw men, women and children to the ground, guns drawn, and subsequently thrown into cages over the possession of plants. The police state has ballooned and Americans have been terrorized for decades as a result.

But just when you think it couldn’t get any worse than the laws themselves, the Rutherford county sheriff’s office in Tennessee has stepped in to demonstrate that cops don’t need laws to conduct raids, make arrests and close businesses.

In fact, they don’t even need to know what they are arresting people for or what the offending substance may or may not do.

They may not even need to know what the substance is. In fact, at least when it comes to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, the Smyrna Police Department, Murfreesboro Police Department, La Vergne Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, DEA, and FBI. There doesn’t seem to be a limit on what they might not know.

In mid-February, Rutherford County Law Enforcement along with the aforementioned agencies, received a court order from Circuit Court Judge, Royce Taylor, to conduct 23 raids, close 23 stores, and issue 21 indictments over sales of CBD products.

“We’d like to inform the parents to be aware of what your children are bringing home with them,” said Rutherford County Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh.

Syrian Military Uncovers Terrorist "Chemical Weapons Workshop" In East Ghouta

According to reports from Sputnik International, the Syrian Army has claimed that it has uncovered a chemical weapons “workshop” in East Ghouta after having liberated the territory where the workshop was located.

After sweeping through the village of Aftris in Eastern Ghouta following the withdrawal of terrorists from the area, Syrian Army Colonel Feruz Ibrahim told reporters that, “Presumably, the equipment of these munitions could be produced as part of a false flag accusation that government troops used chemical weapons.”

In other works, Ibrahim is echoing what many independent researchers have known for some time, i.e. that Western-backed terrorists have the ability and the desire to conduct false flag attacks to be blamed on the Syrian government for the purpose of justifying military action or airstrikes against the Syrian military by the United States and NATO.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry recently stated that militants inside East Ghouta may be preparing to stage a chemical attack in order to place blame on the Syrian government. Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister, Faisal Mekdad assured the press that Damascus was ready and willing to assist in investigations related to chemical attacks in Syria, but pointed out that various “international organizations” did not want to cooperate with the Syrian government.

Only a week ago, the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation also reported the possibility that terrorists were planning to stage chemical weapons attacks in East Ghouta in order to blame the Syrian government.

Colorado Movement To Legalize Magic Mushrooms Gaining Steam

A new movement is brewing in Colorado and it’s long overdue. A group of activists are now attempting to legalize psilocybin mushrooms, another natural plant that has been banned by authoritarian governments across the country and the rest of the world. To date, same as with marijuana, no one has died as a direct result of psilocybin. However, governments and “enforcers” have spent decades locking up peaceful people into cages, effectively ruining the lives they claim are going to be ruined by the mushrooms.

The group of activists , Colorado for Psilocybin, are currently moving to collect enough signatures on petitions to allow the issue to be placed on the ballot. Essentially, they are pushing an initiative to decriminalize psilocybin, do away with felony charges for anyone caught with the mushrooms, and make enforcement the lowest priority for Denver police.

Anyone who is caught with more than two ounces of dried mushrooms or two pounds of “wet” or uncured mushrooms, under CFP’s initiative, could receive a citation, less than $99 for the first offense, increasing in increments of $100 for subsequent offenses though never more than $999 per citation. Thus, the initiative is not full decriminalization but clearly a step in the right direction.

As Colorado Public Radio reports,

Tyler Williams, one of the leaders of the Psilocybin Decriminalization Initiative, says the marijuana legalization efforts of yesteryear did provide a helpful roadmap when constructing the initiative. Williams is a believer, too. He’s a co-founder of the Denver chapter of the Psychedelic Club at the University of Colorado Boulder.

East Ghouta Terrorists Attack Civilians Attempting To Leave Area, MSM Silent As Usual

For all the weeping and wailing of the mainstream media regarding East Ghouta and the hysteria over civilians in the terrorist held areas being killed as a result of the operations to liberate the area, there is scarcely even scant mention of the civilians undeniably being targeted in Damascus by East Ghouta-based terrorists. While Russia and Syria have never been shown to have intentionally targeted in civilians during the entire course of the war, America’s “rebels” have often solely targeted civilians throughout the conflict and are continuing to do so today.

But despite crowing over the humanitarian catastrophe in East Ghouta, the need for aid, and the ability of civilians to leave the area, there has been little mention of the fact that the East Ghouta terrorists opened fire on civilians attempting to do just that.

On March 8, a convoy of around 300 families was attempting to leave East Ghouta via a humanitarian corridor in order to join their family members who were waiting with journalists on the other side. According to the Russian Center for Reconciliation In Syria, armed groups based in East Ghouta opened fire on the families only a kilometer from the exit. It is not yet clear whether or not there were any casualties but it is known that at least three cars were destroyed due to shelling.

The terrorists then opened fire on the exit area itself. There were no injuries in the second attack and all the civilians and journalists were quickly evacuated.

New “NanoParticle” Eye Drops Could Eliminate Need For Eyeglasses

A new development coming from scientists based in Israel is hinting at the possibility of eliminating the need for eyeglasses in the future. The patented “nanodrops” have already been tested on pigs with positive results and tests on humans are to begin soon.

The drops essentially repair corneas and improve both short and long sightedness.

As the Interesting Engineering website writes,

According to Dr. David Smadja, leader of the research team, the eye-drops could revolutionize ophthalmological and optometry treatments of patients suffering from myopia, hyperopia and other refractory conditions. 

The revolutionary breakthrough was revealed by Dr. Smadja on Wednesday at Shaare Zedek’s second biennial research day, which was held at Steinberg Auditorium in Jerusalem. He said that nanodrops could even be used to replace multifocal lenses and allow people to see object from different distances. 

“This is a new concept for correcting refractory problems,” Smadja said. He, however, did not mention how often the drops will require being applied to replace eyeglasses completely. 

Tennessee Inches Toward Medical Marijuana Legalization

After years of denying citizens even the lip service to their basic rights, the Tennessee legislature has moved one small step forward toward making one form of medical marijuana legal.

The new bill HB 1749 is no standard bearer for freedom, but at least it’s a baby step in the right direction.

Unfortunately, the bill faces an uphill battle with law enforcement basically goosestepping to the capitol, and sieg heiling the Drug War alongside their friends in the prosecutor’s office.

Indeed, the congressional committee heard from both traditionally freedom-crushing institutions who were unsurprisingly opposed to any form of medical marijuana. A few brave souls testified in favor of the proposal although their testimony was given less weight by the political class and the corporate media largely due to the fact that their occupations did not involve throwing peaceful people into cages over plants.

Still, the panel of the Committee was left evenly divided until House Speaker, Beth Harwell, broke the tie in support of medical marijuana.

Harwell’s decision to support medical cannabis was most likely influenced by the fact that her sister is a resident of Colorado and uses it to manage her pain.

Given the fact that her sister is not known to be an ax murderer, a school shooter, or a homeless drug addict begging for pennies on the street, it probably seemed pretty obvious to House Speaker Harwell that marijuana wasn’t as dangerous as her colleagues, who are known to be microphones for corporations and law enforcement, have pretended it to be.

The 4-3 vote now means that the bill will be heard by the full Criminal Justice Committee. Sponsor of the bill, Jeremy Faison, stated,

The more you expose those lies that have brought to us since the 1930s, eventually you can finally get through to somebody.

The bill would allow patients suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease, PTSD, HIV AIDS and Hepatitis C, to obtain cards and buy cannabis from licensed dispensaries. The bill would only allow the sale of cannabis oil and the level of THC would be limited.

The bill will have to go through at least two committees before it reaches the House floor, moves onto the Senate and finally the Governor’s office.

In mid-January, Bulgarian-based journalist and contributor to Natural Blaze, Dilyana Gaytandhzhieva, wrote an explosive exposé of the U.S. bioweapons research that spans across the world in 25 different countries. Ohio Gov. Candidate Dennis Kucinich Goes All In For Marijuana In Ohio

Ohio candidate for Governor, former Congressman Dennis Kucinich, stopped by the Cleveland School of Cannabis today to announce his marijuana policy should he become the Governor of Ohio in 2018. As one might suspect from Kucinich’s history and by the location he chose to make his announcement, Kucinich’s marijuana platform is probably the most impressive ever put forward by a serious contender for the office.

In his short statement, Kucinich announced that he and his running mate, Tara L. Samples, would expand Ohio’s medical marijuana law while at the same time decriminalizing the possession and use of marijuana for adults over the age of 21. Kucinich stated that he would like to see marijuana regulated in a similar way to that which alcohol and alcohol sales are overseen in the state.

Linking marijuana policy to the opioid epidemic as a proven remedy (not an accessory), Kucinich also wants to see tax revenue from weed to be funneled back into communities, particularly those that have been so heavily devastated by the disastrous drug war. Kucinich also wants Ohio to begin growing industrial hemp as well as allowing medical marijuana patients to grow marijuana at home.

Kucinich pointed out that any regulation of marijuana should be focused on the health and safety of the patients, consumers, and citizens and not special interests, most likely hinting at the fact that Corporate America is already attempting to not only cash in on the growing marijuana market but also to monopolize it nationwide.

Kucinich spoke after a number of individuals who told their stories of how medical marijuana had improved their lives and the lives of those close to them.

New OK Bill Would Move To Restore Vaccine Choice, Facing Predictable Opposition

A new vaccine bill has passed through committee in the Oklahoma House and, for a change, it’s a positive development. The bill, which still has to go through the general House and the Senate would be a major step in the right direction in terms of parental and patient choice in regards to vaccines.

Under House Bill 3444, a patient or a patient’s family cannot be penalized by an insurance company or medical doctor if they do not follow a vaccine schedule.

“This bill basically helps preserve the freedom of parents to make a decision in regards to their health care,” said Rep. Tom Gann, R-Inola.

But, predictably, other members of the Oklahoma Congress aren’t quite so lucid as Representative Gann. For instance, Senator Ervin Yen, stated that “As a physician, as a scientist, if I don’t keep trying to increase vaccination in Oklahoma, in my opinion, it’s malpractice.”

Judging from Yen’s statement which demonstrates a stunning lack of understanding of what malpractice is, science, and the concept of individual rights as well as the role of doctors in society (i.e. not authoritarian dictators), it would be wise for Yen to stop practicing medicine and resign from the Oklahoma Senate before he is able to do serious damage to the people of that state.

Regardless, the bill is eligible for a vote this week.

Teen Mental Health Seriously Deteriorated In 5 Years – The Surprising Culprit

Between the years of 2010 and 2015, large national surveys demonstrated that teen mental health vastly deteriorated.

The number of U.S. teens who felt useless and joyless grew by 33% and teen suicide attempts grew by 23%. The number of 13-18 year olds who actually committed suicide jumped to 31%.

In a paper published in Clinical Psychological Science, researchers found that increases in suicide, suicide attempts and depression were found in teens from every background including races, ethnicities and social class.

These increases were also found in every region across the country.

Previously, it was thought that millennials were the most heavy sufferers of mental health issues of all the generations. But it appears that young people born after 1995 are at much more risk than even millennials.

This begs the question as to what would cause such sudden increase in depression and suicide.

Jean Twenge, professor of psychology at San Diego State University, links that increase back to the appearance of the Smart Phone.

Israel Now Arming 7 Terrorist Groups In Syria, Report

Israel has long been known to provide support to terrorists operating in Syria ever since the crisis began in 2011. From providing medical support to terrorist fighters as well as training and intelligence and even some amount of weaponry and logistics, the Israelis have openly supported the so-called rebels in their efforts to overthrow the secular government of Bashar al-Assad. Indeed, Israeli airstrikes on Syrian military and/or allied military positions in support of terrorist factions are the most obvious means of support with Israel having struck Syria around one hundred times since the beginning of the war.

However, while all this information is well-known, more evidence has emerged that Israel is now providing terrorists with even more direct support and weaponry that it had done previously.

In an article by Elizabeth Tsurkov, “Israel’s Deepening Involvement With Syria’s Rebels,” posted on War On The Rocks on February 14, 2018, Tsurkov reveals that Israel is becoming even more active in arming terrorists on Syria’s border (in reality, Syria’s own territory) that will be then used in Syria itself. She writes,

Another major shift in Israeli policy occurred during this time as well, according to Syrian activists and rebels I have interviewed, as well as pro-regime and opposition media reporting. Rebels from Quneitra and western Daraa, as well as media activists in those regions with ties to the rebels, told me that Israel began providing more military support to a greater number of rebel groups affiliated with the Free Syrian Army. This support came in the form of weapons, ammunition and money to purchase weapons on the black market. All of my sources confirmed the identity of at least seven factions receiving Israeli support, on the condition that the groups would not be named. However, two of these groups have been publicly identified before: Liwaa’ Fursan al-Jolan and Firqat Ahrar Nawa. Israeli officials have vehemently denied support to jihadist groups, leaving open the possibility that the government supports these non-jihadist groups.

U.S. Once Again Discussing "Military Action" Against Syria Over Alleged

As the Syrian government rapidly gains ground against the terrorists in East Ghouta, the United States is once again considering military action against Syria under the guise of a “response” to alleged but disproven claims that the Syrian military is using chemical weapons.

The Washington Post reports,

The Trump administration has considered new military action against the Syrian government in response to reports of ongoing chemical weapons use, officials said, raising the prospect of a second U.S. strike on President Bashar al-Assad in less than a year.

President Trump requested options for punishing the Assad government after reported chlorine gas attacks — at least seven this year — and possibly other chemicals affecting civilians in opposition-controlled areas.

In a Feb. 25 incident, residents and medical staffers in a rebel-held Damascus suburb, Eastern Ghouta, described symptoms associated with chlorine exposure. One child died, medical staffers reported.

The president discussed potential actions early last week at a White House meeting that included Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, national security adviser H.R. McMaster and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, officials said.

Mexico Floats Legalizing Pot, Drug Warriors Concerned

For decades, Mexico has followed the same disastrous drug policy as the United States, and for decades it has experienced a similar outcome, i.e., organized crime, increased violence and a police state. But while the violence and organized crime became plentiful at home, its drug supply largely headed north.

But in a turn of events that would have surprised no one with an ounce of common sense, growing legalization in the United States is killing cartel leaders and drug runners.

Virtually everyone who has opposed the war on drugs has been aware of the fact that the United States’ appetite for marijuana and actual drugs was fueling the violence in Mexico. The police state in the United States was thus fueling the police state in Mexico, as well as the almost failed state that Mexico has found itself in.

Now, for the first time in recent memory, some Mexican government leaders are openly advocating for the decriminalization of marijuana.

Mexico’s tourism secretary, in late Jan of 2018, stated, that “it is absurd that we have not taken the step” to legalize cannabis.

Granted, Enrique de la Madrid, is only talking about marijuana and not drugs, but he is also a member of a growing number of Mexican leaders who are calling for marijuana legalization.

Like the United States, however, years of relentless propaganda, government corruption and parties that would benefit from seeing continued illegality of marijuana have prevented decriminalization from taking place.

Trump’s HHS Secretary Literally Just Denied Existence Of Medical Marijuana

As U.S. President, Donald Trump, suggests the death penalty for drug dealers, Attorney General Jeff “Mr. Magoo” Sessions, cracks down on the Constitution and scary plants, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary, Alex Azar, traveled to Kettering, OH to make the profound statement that,

There really is no such thing as medical marijuana.

The statement came during his press conference on opioids in Kettering where he was promoting a $750 million dollar public-private partnership to allegedly create a new type of pain killer/pain therapy that are not opioids.

But his statement that medical marijuana does not exist would come as news to the large portion of people who all ready use it, and even the state of Ohio itself that is issuing state licenses to build medical marijuana cultivation facilities such as the one in Yellow Springs.

His reasoning, of course, is that the FDA has yet to approve any use of marijuana; therefore, if the FDA hasn’t approved it – it doesn’t exist.

Instead of allowing Americans their right to access plants, Azar stated that “over $750 million dollars just in 2019 alone is going to be dedicated towards the National Institutes of Health working in public-private partnership to try and develop the next generation of pain therapies that are not opioids.”

Congress Claims Russia Behind Anti-Fracking Sentiment

Fresh on the heels of a report issued by Iowa State University researchers and repeated ad nauseum by mainstream corporate media, the U.S. Congress has issued its own report blaming the Russians for yet another destabilizing movement in the U.S. - opposition to fracking and pipeline projects. That’s right, if you think fracking is toxic and dangerous, you have fallen prey to Russian propaganda. If you think using imminent domain to take the homes of American citizens for the benefit of energy companies is wrong, again, you are simply repeating Russian propaganda. If you are worried that your tap water may be flammable, Russians!!

The new Congressional report entitled, “Russian Attempts To Influence Domestic Energy Markets By Exploiting Social Media,” written by the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology in the House of Representatives, thus demonstrates that the United States has descended to a level of neo-McCarthyism only paralleled by the 1950s.

The Congressional Committee report engages in a twenty-one page conspiracy theory packed with enough evidence to fit on the head of a pin. Much like the rest of the Russian meddling conspiracy theories pushed by mainstream media and the U.S. government, there isn’t a shred of credible evidence to back up the claims that the Russian government engaged in a campaign of meddling or destabilization of the United States, its elections, or anything else. The entire narrative was invented during the course of the 2016 election by Deep State operatives and the Democratic party in order to paint Hillary Clinton’s fortunate loss as an act of aggression by a foreign state and to block any real attempt on the part of the Trump administration at rapprochement with Russia. The mouthpiece of that Deep State, the mainstream media, has thus hammered the propaganda into the minds of the American people.

Did Trump Hint At Future Death Penalty For Drug Dealers?

Ever since he took office, Donald Trump has been hinting at an even tougher drug policy than his predecessor, even after decades of an entrenched police state that has overseen the largest incarceration numbers in the world.

Trump’s hints were followed up by Attorney General Jeff Sessions frightening and idiotic statements regarding marijuana and thus assuring Americans that they would endure at least four more years of freedom-crushing legislation and enforcement, incarceration and violence over plants and substances any free human being should have the right to consume if they so choose.

Now, only days after stating that he would like to “take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump is now hinting at the possibility of calling for the death penalty for drug dealers.

Invoking mass murderer Rodrigo Duterte, Trump stated,

The answer is you have to have strength and you have to have toughness. The drug dealers, drug pushers – they’re really doing damage. Some countries have a very, very tough penalty, the ultimate penalty and, by the way, they much less of a drug problem than we do. So we’re going to have to be very strong on penalties.

Of course, there are countries that don’t have drug laws, or at least have decriminalized the use of drugs that also have much less of a drug problem than the United States. Not only is there no evidence that harsher penalties reduce drug usage, there is plenty of evidence that harsher penalties do nothing but exacerbate the problem, all while creating a national gulag system and a drain on public wealth in the process.

Ohio Gov Candidate Dennis Kucinich Education Platform Reveals Scam Of Charter Schools

In early February, Ohio Governor Candidate Dennis Kucinich announced his campaign platform point regarding education in Ohio and, more specifically, the issue of charter schools. That announcement drew a great deal of support and criticism as one might expect, but it also brought with it a lot of confusion.

Kucinich’s plan would essentially force charter schools under the control of the local school boards and local governments and restrict government money paid to charter schools. Reactions to his plan have ranged from jubilant to hostile, with the latter generally perceiving that his plan is effectively eliminating school choice and private schools as an option to parents seeking to protect their children from the horror show of the American public school system. No doubt, some supporters of the plan probably believe the same thing.

However, this is where confusion is coming into play in regards to the charter school issue. First, it is important to point out that Charter schools and Private schools are two different things. Private schools are what most people think about whenever they hear the term “school choice.” These schools are sometimes religious in orientation, sometimes based on science, specific studies, or any number of other elements of focus. But they are all run privately by organizations, churches, businesses, or simply by parents. Some are for-profit and some are non-profit but they all fund themselves through tuition, donations, or charity. In other words, private schools fund themselves via the private sector. Clearly, it is important to keep the private school alive in order to provide another option in addition to homeschooling for parents who want to avoid the nightmare of American public schools that exists in every state across the nation. But there is a distinct difference between the private school system and the charter school system.

Charter schools are schools essentially created and developed by corporations for the benefit of corporations and thus function outside of the “public” realm. Most of them have a narrow focus that has come to be known as the “school to work” pipeline, training children for specific jobs as opposed to a general understanding of basic skills such as math, reading, science, and social studies etc. that they will need throughout their lives. However, despite these schools being the product of private industry and functioning outside of the public sphere, they still receive massive amounts of taxpayer money.

71% Of Military Age Americans Too Sick To Join, Study Says

The United States is now facing a security crisis the likes of which it has never faced before. Although we are awaiting the attempts to blame it on them, it’s hard to see how the State Department or the corporate media can pin this on on the Russians.

According to a new study by the Heritage Foundation, nearly 71% of young U.S. citizens are ineligible to serve in the military. To be more specific, out of 34 million people, between the ages of 17 and 24, more than 24 million are unable to join the military. Sixty percent of those ineligible to join are ineligible due to health problems or physical fitness. Around one-third are too obese.

Indeed, 27% of young Americans are “too overweight for military service.”

“The obesity issue is the most troubling because the trend is going in the wrong direction…by 2020 it could be as high as 50%,” said Major General Allen Batschelet, former Commander of U.S. Army Recruiting Command “back in 2015, “which means only two in ten would qualify to join the Army.”

Other common health concerns are hearing and eyesight problems, asthma and mental illness.

The study also shows that a quarter of those unfit for military service, are due to intelligence factors and are unable to complete their high school education and lack a “basic understanding of written and cognitive skills…to complete an organized program.”

MSM, University Blaming Russia For Anti-GMO Sentiment

The American mainstream corporate media has turned into a literal madhouse in the period of the last two years.

Any doubt whether or not mainstream outlets are actually propaganda outlets should have been erased around the time of the 2016 elections. Now, however, it appears that outlets are trying to see just how ridiculous their propaganda can be before the majority of people abandon them altogether.

Taking the recent Russian hysteria as an example, mainstream outlets have blamed Russia for almost everything from the election of Donald Trump, “fake news,” “conspiracy theories”(which are actually mislabeled as conspiracy theories), protest movements and questions surrounding the flu vaccine.

You would think the mainstream media would have discredited itself beyond repair at this point. At least you would think so after the most recent hilarious attempt to blame “Russian wins” for cold weather in the UK.

But in terms of ridiculous ideas and nonsensical claims, mainstream media has a competitor – the Western University. Unfortunately for the American people, however, these two institutions do not actually compete, instead they work together, hand in glove.

More Authority For Mental Health Agencies Not A Solution To Mass Shootings – Dangerous Course For Civil Liberties

After another tragic mass shooting, this time in a Florida high school, Americans are once again caught in a whirlwind of emotion, anger, fear, and debate. As per the usual, the mainstream corporate press has launched an undeniably biased anti-gun campaign that has the nation debating whether or not unalienable rights are actually unalienable. The gun argument aside, however, there is another topic being discussed in relation to the shooting as a possible solution to such incidents in the future – greater “mental health” programs and interventions.

The argument is simple since virtually no rational person would deny that an individual who would open fire on innocent people must have some level of mental health issues. The argument is thus that mental health services should be more available and that they should also have more authority to intervene. The former point is not contentious and it shouldn’t be. Unfortunately, the latter point doesn’t seem to be too contentious either and it should.

Like the medical industry, the psychiatric industry (which is firmly connected to Big Pharma and the police state), already has a broad range of assumed and legally backed authority. In fact, it’s a safe bet that most Americans don’t know just how much authority their mental health “authorities” actually have. They don’t know that these individuals are able to make subjective judgments on others with no basis in fact or logic that result in the detention, arrest, evaluation, hospitalization, and medication without consent. This isn’t the police state of the future, it’s the police state of today.

Keep in mind, these subjective decisions aren’t even made only in situations that warrant immediate concern; i.e. a patient is hallucinating demons and believes he should kill his mother who is possessed by a demon. Those situations exist, of course, but so also do situations that involve no risk to others such as delusions, depression, and paranoia. This practice is sold to many on the basis that someone suffering from these diagnoses could harm themselves or others. In other words, on the basis of pre-crime and completely devoid of the basis of individual rights not to be detained, kidnapped, held hostage, and medicated against their will by someone else who thinks they know what is best for them.
