War of Words Continue Between U.S., Russia Diplomats Over American Aggression, U.K. Joins The Fray

The American airstrikes on Syrian forces in Deir al-Zour on Saturday have produced a chain reaction throughout the diplomatic world with Russia calling an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council regarding the attacks and causing a war of words between Russian and American ambassadors.

After Russia responded to the U.S. bombing by calling for an urgent meeting of the UNSC, the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and notorious humanitarian bomber Samantha Power ranted and raved about the “embarrassment” that Russia was bringing on itself by daring to question the U.S. prerogative to bomb any and everywhere it wants.

“Why are we having this meeting tonight? It is a diversion from what is happening on the ground. If you don't like what is happening on the ground then you distract. It is a magician's trick… we encourage the Russian Federation to have emergency meetings with the Assad regime and deliver them to this deal," Power said.

"What Russia is alleging tonight is that somehow the United States is undermining the fighting against ISIL. The Russian spokesperson even said that the United States might be complicit in this attack… This is not a game," she exclaimed.

"The Syrian regime that bills itself as the fighter against ISIL let the group grow and grow. ISIL took root and prospered right next to the Assad regime," Power said. “"The best way to fight ISIL and al-Nusra Front is to stop bombing civilians and deliver the Assad regime. Assad's tactics have been a gift to terrorists. There is a better way forward, but Russia really needs to stop the cheap point scoring and grandstanding and focus on what matters. The implementation of something that we have negotiated in good faith with them."

"We regret the loss of life, but since 2011 Assad's regime have been striking Syrian civilians relentlessly," she added.

“Even by Russia’s standards, tonight’s stunt, a stunt replete with moralism and grandstanding is uniquely cynical and hypocritical,” Power ranted.

“And that spokesperson who suggested complicity [with ISIS on the part of the U.S.] really should be embarrassed.

To anyone even somewhat familiar with the situation on the ground in Syria and to most of the world, Samantha Power came across looking like the absolute monster that she is. Only within the borders of the United States and Western Europe would Power have any credibility whatsoever. To the rest of the world, however, her aggressive speech was nothing more than the rantings of either a liar or an individual suffering under a great delusion who was unfortunately allowed in front of a microphone at a world event. Powers’ feeble attempts at mimicking the speech and mannerisms of Barack Obama were stunted by reality and by the fact that well over 90% of her speech could be disproven within seconds of typing on a keyboard.

But while Powers threw her fit and humiliated herself and the United States even further, she did at least succeed in disrupting the meeting itself. Russian Ambassador to the U.N. Vitaly Churkin stormed out of the meeting claiming he had “never seen such American heavy-handedness.”

Churkin did add that Russia still had many questions about the American attacks and that he viewed the timing of the attacks as very suspicious.

“That spokesman” Maria Zakharova, shot back on social media after Power’s ridiculous statement. She wrote,

Dear Samantha Power, in order to know the meaning of the word “embarrassed,” I highly encourage you to travel to Syria and talk to the people there for yourself. And by that I do not mean the Al-Nusra Front militants, nor the moderate opposition, whose humanitarian situation Washington seems to be so worried about. I likewise am not referring to the Western warriors for justice for Syria. I’m referring to the actual people that continue to live there in spite of the bloody experiment that has been waged on their homeland for over six years, with active participation by Washington.

Do say yes. Don’t be frightened. Nobody will lay a finger on you in my presence. Unless, of course, your guys don’t again ‘mistakenly’ strike the wrong target. You’ll make lots of new memories. And find out what ‘embarrassed’ means in the process.

Zakharova was also quoted by RIA Novosti as saying “We are reaching a really terrifying conclusion for the whole world: That the White House is defending Islamic State.”

That war of words is now continuing.

After her hysterical fit at the United Nations Security Council Meeting, Power attempted to top herself with new accusations and insults leveled at Russia. Power ranted,

What Russia is sponsoring and doing is not counter-terrorism, it is barbarism.
Instead of pursuing peace, Russia and Assad make war. Instead of helping get life-saving aid to civilians, Russia and Assad are bombing the humanitarian convoys, hospitals and first responders who are trying desperately to keep people alive.

It is time to say who is carrying out those airstrikes and who is killing civilians.
Russia holds a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. This is a privilege and it is a responsibility. Yet in Syria and in Aleppo, Russia is abusing this historic privilege.

Again, Zakharova took to social media to respond by writing on her facebook page that “Historically speaking... a barbarian is someone not belonging to an empire, and we have only one of those today. As for the imagery... the world has seen nothing more barbaric in modern history than Iraq and Libya done the Washington way.”

According to RT, Zakharova believes that Power’s fit at the U.N. were designed to draw away attention from the American support of ISIS when it bombed Syrian military positions engaged in combat with the terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zour.

But after Power humiliated the United States and herself with her erratic outburst, England’s Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, jumped in to her rescue accusing the Russians of war crimes in Syria.

“When it comes to instances such as the bombing of aid targets in Aleppo, we should be looking at whether or not that targeting is done in the knowledge that those are wholly innocent civilian targets, that is a war crime,” he said.

Now two versus one – Zakharova responded by saying that

The foreign minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson said in a broadcast of the BBC that Russia is guilty of protracting civil war in Syria and, possibly, of committing war crimes in the form of air attacks on convoys with humanitarian aid.
All this is right except for two words: Instead of 'Russia' it needs to be 'Great Britain' and instead of 'Syria,' 'Iraq."

Indeed, for all this talk about war crimes and barbarism, it seems the U.S. either believes its propaganda is working or thinks that the rest of the world has failed to notice the trail of death and destruction America has left in its wake all across the world. Since 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, and Syria all stand as glaring examples of the fruits of America’s labor. Add that to the fact that the U.S. cannot even coexist with nations unwilling to follow Anglo-American/Anglo-European dictates, and the pack of barbarians is obvious to all who do not belong to it.
