In November of 2013, I wrote an article entitled 11 Signs of a False Flag. In this article, I described at least 11 red flags that indicate the fact that an event was orchestrated for political purposes by a ruling government or otherwise controlling elite. One of the points that were detailed in this article was the issue of simultaneous drills.
One hallmark of the false flag operation is the running of drills shortly before or during the actual attack. Many times, these drills will involve the actual sequence of events that takes place during the real-life attack. These drills have been present on large-scale false flags such as 9/11 as well as smaller scale attacks like the Aurora shooting.
For instance, as Webster Tarpley documents in his book 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made In USA, at least 46 drills were underway in the months leading up to 9/11 and on the morning of the attack. These 46 drills were all directly related to the events which took place on 9/11 in some way or other.[1] Likewise, the 7/7 bombings in London were running drills of exactly the same scenario that was occurring at exactly the same times and locations.
Although one reason may take precedence over the other depending on the nature and purpose of the operation, drills are used by false flag operators for at least two reasons. One such purpose is the creation of intentional confusion if the drill is taking place during the actual attack. The other, more effective aspect, however, is using the drill as a cloak to plan the attack or even “go live” when it comes time to launch the event. Even more so, it gives the individuals who are involved in the planning of the event an element of cover, especially with the military/intelligence agency’s tight chain of command structure and need-to-know basis. If a loyal military officer or intelligence agent stumbles upon the planning of the attack, that individual can always be told that what he has witnessed is nothing more than the planning of a training exercise. This deniability continues all the way through to the actual “going live” of the drill. After the completion of the false flag attack, Coincidence Theory is used to explain away the tragic results.[2]
One of the drills taking place before and during the shootdown of MH17 was Rapid Trident. This drillinvolved troops from the United States, Germany, and Italy and also included units from these countries as well as Canada, Armenia, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.
A total of at least 1,300 troops were sent to Lviv, a city
in northwest Ukraine near the Polish border. The exercise was also falsely advertised as the only military drill taking
place in Ukraine in this time.
In describing Rapid Trident, the U.S. Army in Europe website wrote:
Rapid Trident supports interoperability among Ukraine, the
United States, NATO and Partnership for Peace member nations. The exercise
helps prepare participants to operate successfully in a joint, multinational,
integrated environment with host-nation support from civil and governmental
agencies. Rapid Trident is a part of U.S. European Command’s Joint Training and
Exercise Program, designed to enhance joint combined interoperability with
allied and partner nations. The exercise also supports Ukraine’s Annual
National Program to achieve interoperability with NATO and commitments made in
the annual NATO-Ukraine work plan.
If last year's Rapid Trident is
anything to go by, and it may indeed be, since the number of troops sent this
year is the same number of troops sent last year, then the focus may well have
been on "airborne and air mobile infantry operations" as it was in
2013.
As reported by RT, Rapid Trident's Facebook page stated that last year's exercises involved "more than 800 pieces of weaponry and about 170 military and combat vehicles... In addition, 4 Mi -8 helicopters, a military transport aircraft An- 26 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a German transport aircraft C- 160 were involved to work out airborne operations and elements of evacuation of the wounded from the field of battle."
However, while Rapid Trident received most of the scant media coverage, there was in fact a second military drill taking place on and around the day that MH17 was shot down.
BREEZE 2014 was successfully concluded on July 17th, the day of the MH17 crash. Seven NATO countries participated in the naval exercise which took place in the Black Sea. According to Reuters, the "10-day drills aimed to improve tactical coordination of allied units 'in a multi-threat environment.'" Vessels and aircraft from the United States, Great Britain, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy took part in the drills.
Most notably, the Romanian navy stated that these exercises involved commercial traffic monitoring as well as "reaction to asymmetric threat warnings, anti-submarine warfare and artillery firing."
According to the Allied Command Operations website, "The aim of Exercise BREEZE 2014 is to improve operational and tactical interoperability of participating units and commands, to enhance interagency cooperation in a multi-threat environment. The exercise is also an opportunity for NATO to exercise its warfare procedures and tactics in a multinational environment."
It is interesting to note that, according to the ACO website, BREEZE 2014 was scheduled to continue until July 13th. However, these war games did not conclude until four days later on July 17th, the same day that MH17 was brought down, according to Reuters.
Yet, as Wayne Madsen writes,

Yet, as Wayne Madsen writes,
The U.S. Army has revealed that the 10-day exercise involved
«commercial traffic monitoring». Because of the sophistication of the
electronic warfare and intelligence used during SEA BREEZE, it can be assumed
that commercial traffic monitoring included monitoring the track of MH-17.
[...]
BREEZE included the AEGIS-class guided missile cruiser USS
Vela Gulf. AEGIS cruisers’ AN/SPY 1 radar has the ability to track all aircraft
over a large region. For example, the AEGIS test center in Moorestown, New
Jersey, was able to see the Boeing 747 TWA Flight 800 when it disappeared from
radar screens in 1996 near East Moriches Bay, Long Island. According to
Lockheed Martin personnel who operated the AEGIS test center in New Jersey, the
Navy ordered the SPY 1 radar turned off for «maintenance» shortly before the
downing of TWA 800.
From the Black Sea, the Vela Gulf was able to track Malaysian Airlines 17 over the Black Sea and any missiles fired at the plane. U.S. AWACS electronic intelligence (ELINT) aircraft were also flying over the Black Sea region at the time of the MH-17 flyover of Ukraine. Growler aircraft have the capability to jam radar systems in all surface-to-air threats.

Madsen also writes, "Past NATO-Ukraine exercises in
Crimea were called SEA BREEZE. This year’s annual SEA BREEZE exercise with
Ukraine, approved by the rump Ukrainian Parliament, is clouded in mystery with
the Pentagon saying “it was only in the planning stage and we can’t announce
dates yet". However, 200 U.S. Army personnel normally assigned to bases in
Germany were in Ukraine during the time of the MH-17 fly-over. They were
participating in NATO exercise RAPID TRIDENT II. Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense
led the exercise."
Wayne Madsen's article MH-17 and NATO Exercise "BREEZE 2014": Beware of the Chameleon draws a number of other important connections between those responsible for the MH17 crash. It is well worth the read.
It is also relevant to note that yet another exercise took place in the months leading up to the MH17 shootdown. This exercise, Trident Jaguar 2014 began on May 6th and concluded on May 16th.

According to the U.S. Navy's website,
Trident Jaguar, a NATO-sponsored exercise, is part of a
family of NATO training exercises developed to fit specific purposes and
evaluation needs, and is a collective training event to certify Naval Striking
and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) to serve as a joint headquarters
(maritime/expeditionary) aboard Mount Whitney.
[...]
Trident Jaguar focuses on building STRIKFORNATO’s ability to
respond to crisis on short notice. The exercise will also demonstrate
interoperability between NATO allies as part of NATO’s broader connected forces
initiative. The exercise runs from 6-16 May 2014 and involves both NATO Rapid
Deployable Corps Spain (NRDC ESP) and STRIKFORNATO.
STRIKFORNATO, headquartered in Oeiras, Portugal, is the high-readiness, maritime-enabled joint headquarters directly responsible to SACEUR for the command, control and rapid integration of major maritime and amphibious combat power for NATO.

After the shooting down of the Malaysian Boeing 777 over
Ukraine, the Western media has been aflame with fingerpointing at Russia and
Ukrainian separatists. However, while NATO and its media mouthpieces attempt to
rekindle the Cold War and ignite a confrontation with Russia, there exists a
number of fundamental questions surrounding the events that have taken place in
Eastern Ukraine.
Given the track record of the United States, NATO, and governments in general throughout history, one must at least wonder whether or not the recent shootdown of the Malaysian flight over Ukraine was not simply a false flag designed to drum up national fervor and a new Cold War ultimately leading to a confrontation with Russia.

It is important for the Western public and the rest of the
world to become more streetwise regarding incidents such as the Malaysian
flight and that they immediately cease to accept an entirely discredited
government and media’s explanations as truth.
