After nearly a year-and-a half-long battle with DCFS, the Utah Family Court System, rogue Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Amber Ruder, and an ex-husband’s legal team determined to pull every underhanded trick in the book, it appears that Katerina Jeleva's ordeal is finally coming to an end.
Judge Mary Noonan ruled on March 19, 2013 that Katerina will indeed be reunited with her son within a period of 90 days.
For those who may be unaware of the situation surrounding Katerina’s separation with her son, please see the following articles for a detailed chronology, after which you can find additional details about this victory.

As a result of this ruling and, after 90 days, during which Katerina and her son are required to go through a brief reintroduction period, the child will return home with Katerina and she will have full physical custody. Katerina’s ex-husband will receive minimum visitation and is required to pay child support.
The reintroduction period stipulations were made based on the recommendations of the child’s personal therapist in conjunction with the current Guardian ad Litem, John Moody, in order to make the transition easier for the child and to allow him to adjust to his permanent homecoming. The reintroduction is essentially several initially brief visitations that will progressively grow longer in duration until the child is fully returned to Katerina’s custody.
The Judge’s orders will soon be put in writing and, after the ruling is filed, Brett Beyer has 15 days to appeal the District Court of Utah if he desires to do so. It is important to note that Juvenile Court no longer has any jurisdiction in the matter. Judge Noonan has stated that she has seen no clear and convincing evidence of abuse, neglect, or dependency on the part of Katerina and, since the judge has denied the ex-husband’s motions, Juvenile Court has now washed its hands of the case. There is no longer a Protective Order filed against Katerina.
Furthermore, recognizing the nature of the claims filed by Katerina’s ex-husband, Brett Beyer, Judge Noonan noted that it was very troubling that Beyer had filed these false allegations.
In all cases, without exception, Katerina has been found not guilty of any charges levied against her. Likewise, DCFS has closed all cases of “child abuse” filed against her for lack of supporting evidence.
Although Brett Beyer, his attorney Jere Reneer, and former GAL Amber Ruder have been known to engage in underhanded tactics and outright treachery before, all signs currently point toward the reunification of Katerina and her son within 90 days.
It also deserves to be noted that, according to Katerina, current GAL John Moody (who replaced former GAL Amber Ruder) has acted with the utmost professionalism and has conducted himself in a neutral manner since his tenure as GAL. To be treated fairly was all that Katerina asked for to begin with.
Katerina has also stated appreciation for the professionalism and expertise of clinical psychologist Dr. Gale Stringham.
Both Katerina Jeleva and myself would like to extend gracious thanks to all of the readers of Activist Post who may have called or written in to Judge Noonan, encouraging her to make the right decision. Likewise, thanks to all the readers who may have come across this story due to reposts on other alternative media websites and who subsequently took action.
Thanks also to all the listeners of my show Truth on the Tracks, who took action in regards to Katerina’s case by calling or emailing the Judge or other relevant individuals.
Many thanks to all who have called or expressed support for Katerina in some way or other.
Also deserving special mention is Alan Watt of CuttingThroughTheMatrix for his initial report and his continued support of Katerina. Thanks also to Dave Hodges of the Common Sense Show who has been extraordinarily supportive of Katerina. Likewise, thanks to all of the alternative media radio shows (such as Madison Ruppert of End the Lie and Maggie Roddin of The Unsolicited Opinion) who have supported Katerina or who have had her on as a guest during the course of this entire ordeal so that she could gain publicity for her case and gain support from others.
